Suzanne Robinson has been a community activist and volunteer for many years, focusing on the rights and needs of the unhoused, as well as on issues affecting children, women and education. She founded and served as Director of Moving Families Forward, a nonprofit that supported formerly unhoused families transitioning into permanent housing by providing free furniture and household essentials. Before that, she worked as a public defender in both San Francisco and Detroit, representing juveniles and adults. Suzanne holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three adult children, three dogs and thirteen chickens.
