
Stacy Mason
Board Member
Stacy Mason is the Founder and Executive Director of WomenCount, a first-of-its-kind crowdfunding platform that aggregates donations to women candidates for state and federal office. Stacy also serves as Executive Director of Electing Women Bay Area, which has giving groups in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Sonoma, and has been involved in the formation and growth of the national umbrella organization Electing Women Alliance. Previously, she worked in political journalism, serving as Editor-in-Chief of Roll Call, the newspaper that covers the U.S. Congress; Associate Publisher of The Federal Paper, a newspaper focusing on the White House and politics; and Development Director at The Economist.
Stacy is a Board member and former Board Chair of Camp Tawonga and a Wexner Heritage Program fellow. She previously served on the Boards of the Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School and Congregation Beth Am. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Tufts University and a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University. Stacy is married with three children and lives in Palo Alto, California.
