Jayne Lipman is an active community volunteer and advocate for social justice and the arts. As a board member of the Public Theater in New York, Jayne co-chairs the Development and Community Engagement Committee, where she advocates for free theater programming in underserved communities throughout the five boroughs. She is also a member of the Advisory Counsel at Cornell University, where she helps initiate and support programming for first generation and low income students.

Jayne’s other volunteer work is divided among community organizing for local, state and national political campaigns, supporting international psycho-social and trauma relief initiatives for the JDC (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee), and holding leadership roles with several arts organizations in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.

Jayne is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MBA from Columbia University. She and her husband, Bob Goodman, live in Rye, New York and have three grown children.
