Jay Cohan

Jay Cohan was formerly a partner at Western Technology Investment (WTI) where he focused on debt and equity investments in private technology and life science companies from 1999 through 2022. Prior to joining WTI, Jay held sales positions at Puma Technology, Oracle Corporation and SoftMagic, where he was a co-founder and VP of Business Development prior to its acquisition by Puma. Jay holds a BS and MS in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He resides in Los Altos Hills, CA, with his wife Cynthia, and they have two college-age children. As donors, Jay and Cynthia served on the Host Committee for AJWS’s 25th Anniversary Gala in 2010. Jay currently serves as a member of AJWS’s Leadership Council for the Bay Area. He has traveled with AJWS to Senegal in 2014, Cambodia in 2016, and Uganda in 2018.
