Kristen Kendrick
Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Racial Justice (DEIRJ)
Kristen helped to formally establish the AJWS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work in 2017. Originally a member of the Communications and Marketing team, Kristen transitioned into their role as Director of DEI in 2020, leading this portfolio with a focus on liberation. In 2023, they became Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Justice (DEIRJ). Kristen’s dedication to Black Feminism and constant participation in community learning spaces and fellowships informs their work. They are joined by an incredible team of colleagues co-leading the AJWS DEIRJ working group.
