Joshua Fried

Joshua Fried is the Chief of Staff to Robert Bank, President and CEO, at American Jewish World Service (AJWS). He serves as a connector within the organization and supports relationships with AJWS’s Board of Trustees, donors and external audiences. Joshua is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and ensures that executive decision-making, priorities and engagements are grounded in the organization’s internal priorities. Prior to joining AJWS in 2013, he worked for Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life in Los Angeles and was a personal shopper for J.Crew in Oklahoma City. Joshua studied French and public relations at the University of Oklahoma and was a 2017-2018 fellow in the UJA Federation of New York’s Ruskay Institute for Jewish Professional Leadership. Joshua is passionate about working for social change and informed philanthropy, and he enjoys learning about and exploring New York City.
