Tamar Karpuj

Tamar Karpuj Oren is the Senior Content and Storytelling Officer at American Jewish World Service. In her role, Tamar creates print and digital publications, profiles the work of AJWS’s grantee-partners, writes and edits marketing and fundraising campaigns, and develops Jewish social justice resources. Prior to joining AJWS in 2017, Tamar worked for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a Clinton Foundation initiative to promote children’s health. Tamar holds a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Sc. in Bioethics from Columbia University. She is an alumna of the Dorot Fellowship in Israel.
