Leah Kaplan Robins is Director of Publications and Messaging at American Jewish World Service. She oversees the production of an array of print and online publications and develops and maintains AJWS’s editorial “voice” and brand. In her role at AJWS Leah uses stories and strategic content to inspire supporters to deepen their giving and take action as part of the organization’s campaigns and advocacy work. She also writes and edits op-eds to raise awareness about human rights issues in the Jewish and mainstream media. Leah joined AJWS in 2008, after serving as an editor, grant writer and communications associate at several New York nonprofit organizations, including the Covenant Foundation, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, and Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Leah was a Dorot Fellow and holds a B.A. in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University.
