Lily Brent

Lily Brent is AJWS’s Advocacy-Communications Officer. Having worked in eight countries including the U.S., Lily brings a wide range of international and community development experience. Whether she’s working on prison reform, sexual and reproductive health, or child well-being, Lily elicits the strengths and insights of the people she works with to find the solutions that work best for them. Lily is passionate about forging partnerships between people with different identities and perspectives, facilitating difficult conversations, and advocating for justice from the micro level to the macro. Most recently, Lily launched Repair the World’s Atlanta program, creating opportunities for Jewish young adults to provide 24,000 hours of meaningful service to community organizations. A bullet journaler and fiction writer, Lily lives with her partner and one-year-old in Atlanta.
