Marina Rosove Javor is the Associate Director of AJWS’s office in Los Angeles, where she works in major gifts fundraising and expanding the presence of AJWS’s supporter base in Southern California. Marina has spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector, working in a variety of social justice issue areas including reproductive health, global human rights, political advocacy and education. She previously served in development roles at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, J Street, Aim High and New Israel Fund. Marina completed a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration at the University of San Francisco in 2014. She is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, through which she taught English as a foreign language in the Republic of Azerbaijan from 2008-2010, and she also worked as an international aid volunteer in Sri Lanka in 2007.
