Risa Zoll
Chief of Innovation
Risa Zoll is the Chief of Innovation at AJWS, where she partners with the President and CEO to oversee innovation initiatives and steward their successful adoption across the organization. A seasoned, mission-driven leader, Risa has deep expertise in change-management and organizational development. She is a licensed attorney who spent more than 20 years in the human rights and social justice fields in Israel and the U.S. After years of legal practice focused on children’s rights, Risa has been a change-agent in numerous senior leadership roles for more than two decades, managing cross-sector fundraising teams through organizational transitions. Risa came to AJWS in 2023 as Associate Vice President for Development. Prior to joining AJWS, she served as Vice President of Institutional Funding and Operations, playing an important role in the merger of five New York State Planned Parenthood affiliates into the newly formed Planned Parenthood of Greater New York. Risa holds a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
