This year, when we recount the iconic story of our ancestors’ liberation from Egypt, it can deepen our resolve to tackle oppression today — from racism, poverty and authoritarianism, to global hunger and the climate crisis. Acting on Passover’s ancient call for freedom, we can hasten freedom for women, girls, LGBTQI+ people, Indigenous communities, religious and ethnic minorities, and other marginalized groups around the world.
