Sloane Hardin
Program Associate
Sloane Hardin is the Program Associate for the Advocacy and Jewish Engagement team and the Sexual Health and Rights team. Prior to joining AJWS, she worked in multiple offices at the State Department, including the Office of the Special Envoy for LGBTI+ Human Rights, where she supported prep for multilateral engagements, managed the office’s human rights report editing, and provided subject matter expertise. She also worked in the Office of Global Programs, helping manage a multi-million-dollar grant portfolio.
While pursuing her degrees, Sloane interned for The Carter Center’s Democracy Program, where she supported research on gender-based violence during elections and assisted in election monitoring across Latin America. She holds an M.A. in International Development from American University and a B.A. in International Affairs from Georgia State University.
