Maritza Sanchez

Maritza Sanchez is the Associate Director of Accounting and Compliance for the Finance and Information Technology division. She joined AJWS in 2006 as a development associate and transitioned to the finance department in 2009, doing monthly and cumulative reconciliation of both departments’ data systems. Besides reconciling revenue, Maritza reconciles all grants awarded by AJWS with the international programs department. She also processes wires and creates cash receipts as well as stewarding the donor advised fund. Prior to joining AJWS, Maritza worked as an accountant for a printing company and assisted the company’s president. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Baruch College.
