
Kate Jordan
Senior Development Officer
Throughout her career, Kate has been fortunate to work in roles that have provided her with the opportunity to contribute service towards building a better world for all and advancing human rights. Before coming to AJWS, she worked in sales and client success for a nonprofit technology consulting firm, supporting nonprofit organizations with boosting fundraising, grants, and program impact through innovative technology solutions. Before that, Kate held a number of roles at AmeriCorps, managing a federal grant portfolio and providing technical assistance to thousands of AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers serving across the U.S.
Kate is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and served for two years in the Philippines, where she facilitated reproductive health-focused youth programs and managed community grants. She holds a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on community organizing and development from Hunter College and a B.A. in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz.
In her free time, Kate enjoys practicing yoga, diving into multiple books at once, planning her next adventure, and discovering new ice cream flavors.
