American Jewish World Service among those mourning the death of Charlot Jeudi
The Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition, American Jewish World Service, the Haiti Advocacy Working Group, Diversidad Dominicana, Universitarios para la Diversidad, and Amigos Siempre Amigos are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of LGBTI activist Charlot Jeudi, the executive director of Kouraj Pow Pwoteje Dwa Moun.
In view of the sudden and unexpected character of his departure, we hope the Haitian authorities will conduct a full and exhaustive investigation into the cause of his death.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family and to all those who loved him.
