Rabbi Corey Helfand

Rabbi Corey Helfand serves as spiritual leader at Peninsula Sinai in Foster City, CA. Rabbi Helfand was ordained at The Jewish Theological Seminary and received a MA in Talmud and Jewish Law and a certificate in pastoral care. As a Gladstein Fellow in Entrepreneurial Rabbinics, he served as the rabbinic intern at the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel in Riverdale, NY, as the rabbi in Lake Norman, North Carolina, and for the Masorti Community in Kiryat Bialik. Rabbi Helfand graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Jewish/Islamic Studies and Political Science. He completed two units of Clinical Pastoral Education and participated in AJWS’s Rabbinical Students’ Delegation to Ghana.
