Susan Paykin serves as the Rohingya Campaign Coordinator at AJWS. In this role, Susan supports AJWS’ advocacy and engagement work addressing the Rohingya crisis, specifically working with rabbis and Jewish communal groups. Susan previously worked in advocacy and Jewish communal engagement as a legislative assistant at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington, D.C. She also brings years of experience working in the sustainable agriculture and non-profit sectors in New York. In her downtime, Susan enjoys cooking and hiking in the Hudson Valley, where she lives. She has a degree in International and Global Studies from Brandeis University.
