Sophie Feintuch serves as a Program Officer for Sexual Health and Rights, focusing on Early and Child Marriage. Prior to joining AJWS, Sophie directed the Children’s Rights and Child Protection program of Human Rights Education Associates. Sophie has lived in ten countries and has a range of experience working in programming, research, evaluation, and capacity building for children’s rights and gender equality. Her work has included conducting gender analyses for the World Food Programme in Rwanda, and working on the social and economic policy team of UNICEF’s Latin America office in Panama. Sophie holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a joint M.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies from the Universidad de Granada and Central European University, and a B.A. in Sociology from Vassar College.
