Jasmine Smith serves as Grants Management Coordinator at American Jewish World Service, where she supports AJWS’s core grantmaking in Burma, Cambodia, Haiti, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. She has over a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector, where she has consistently and passionately advocated for the rights of vulnerable populations and helped to build and improve pivotal programs for the benefit of our global human community. Prior to joining AJWS, Jasmine worked at the Joyful Heart Foundation as a Development Coordinator – working to change society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
Jasmine is a certified project manager. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy, and a Bachelor’s in Communications and Theater Arts from Pace University. Jasmine also proudly serves on AJWS’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Working Group, as well as on PEAK Grantmaking’s Equitable Practices Working Group.
