Brad Sugar is the Director of AJWS Midwest and a lifetime nonprofit professional with experience managing, leading and growing institutions. As Senior Development Executive with American Friends of The Hebrew University, Brad was responsible for executing a $6 million regional campaign across 12 states. Brad was also previously the Executive Director of Jewish Student Connection, a national network of high school extracurricular clubs focused on Jewish community and Israel. He got his start as a Senior Associate with the Jewish United Fund in Chicago.

Brad earned his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, a master’s in Jewish professional studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership, and his bachelor’s in political science from the University of Michigan. Brad enjoys volunteering with several local community institutions. He resides in Evanston, IL, with his spouse and three sons.
