
Adriana Jiménez
Associate Director, International Operations
Adriana Jiménez is the Associate Director of International Operations at AJWS. In this role she oversees all operational aspects of the organization’s grantmaking portfolios, supervises the grants management team, and directs all organization-wide grantmaking policies, processes and systems to ensure AJWS’s grantmaking is aligned with its core values and strategic goals.
Adriana has over 15 years’ experience in the nonprofit/philanthropic sectors (at both private foundations and public charities), including grants management roles at the Helmsley Charitable Trust, Surdna Foundation, and most recently, at the ASPCA as Director of Grants Management. She holds a M.A. in Arts Administration from Columbia University and a B.A. in Art History from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Since 2015 she has served on the board of directors of PEAK Grantmaking, a national association of over 3,800 philanthropy professionals committed to maximizing impact through improved grantmaking practices.
