In his role at AJWS, Adam Liebling oversees grants management functions, policies and compliance. He has 17 years of experience in grants management at private foundations and public charities, including stints at the ASPCA, Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation and Carnegie Corporation of New York. Adam’s expertise includes international grantmaking; IRS, legal, and other regulatory compliance; and program development. Adam is an active member of PEAK Grantmaking (formerly Grants Managers Network), a membership organization of over 1,200 funders dedicated to advancing best practices in philanthropy. He currently serves on the PEAK Learning Advisory Committee, where he helps develop educational opportunities for grants managers who are new to the field, as well as the PEAK Board Nominating Committee. Adam also serves on the steering committee of the International Grants Operations Working Group of the Human Rights Funders Network.
