Mexico Earthquake: Donate Now

On February 16th, a 7.2 earthquake struck Mexico, affecting communities in the southern state of Oaxaca, less than six months after two damaging quakes claimed dozens of lives.

In the wake of these disasters, AJWS is standing by the Mexican people, offering immediate relief and support for long-term recovery. We are sending emergency relief funds to trusted Mexican aid organizations that are working day and night to help survivors rebuild damaged homes and infrastructure, and aid people without food and water. Our Mexican grantees are already helping survivors access the resources they need.

We will continue to monitor the recent damage in Oaxaca and stay the course through the long-term recovery to ensure that Mexico’s people are able to live with dignity and human rights in the aftermath of the destruction.
