Michael Hirschhorn
Michael Hirschhorn, treasurer of the board of trustees, is executive director of the International Human Rights Funders Group. He served previously as executive director of the Coro New York Leadership Center, executive director of the Literacy Assistance Center in New York City and deputy director of Educators for Social Responsibility Metro (now Morningside Center). Michael serves on the boards of several local and national nonprofits, including the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Foundation (where he is chair), Witness, Breakthrough, Just Vision and EMPower/The Emerging Markets Fund. Michael joined the AJWS board of trustees in October 2007 and is currently chair of the finance and administration committee.
