Kathleen Levin

Kathleen Levin, a vice chair of the board of trustees and chair of the advocacy committee, lives in New York City. Prior to her move to New York in 2006, Kathleen served on the board and executive committee of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles as the chair of its government relations committee. She is a past chair of the American Jewish Congress Pacific Southwest Division and the Los Angeles Regional Family Planning Council. She also worked for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the California State Senate and the U.S. Congress. Kathleen currently serves on the boards of The Hadassah Foundation and DOROT, whose government affairs committee she chairs. She joined the AJWS board of trustees in January 2007.
