Beatrice (Bea) Wilderman

 

Beatrice (Bea) Wilderman is past president of the board of trustees of the Frances Jacobson Early Childhood Center in Boston, MA. In her position, she launched the annual fund, streamlined investments and implemented financial controls and spending rules on endowment. Additionally, she developed and employed a marketing strategy that included the launch of a website and the use of social media tools. Since 2006, Bea has been a board member of Temple Israel in Boston, where she has served on the nominating, engagement and strategy committees and as co-chair of the annual fundraising gala. Bea began serving the philanthropic community in 1998 as a volunteer for Junior Achievement, a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower students by delivering programs to foster work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. During her tenure, she served as a board member coordinating the Stanford University and McKinsey volunteer programs. Bea worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, where she specialized in consumer marketing. She also worked as a senior consultant for Gap Inc., where she focused on consumer insights and led a team in creating a five-year strategic plan for Gap Inc. Finance. Bea received her BA from Yale University and received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Bea was also a Fulbright Scholar in London, where she worked as a research fellow with the British Communicable Disease Surveillance Center.
