Founded in 2009, SSE works to address the social and cultural prejudices against sexual minorities that exist in Thai society and raises public awareness about the violence and discrimination that LGBT people face by documenting human rights violations and conducting rights trainings for the communities.
Project
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Empowerment
To empower Thailand's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities and promote equality and non-discrimination, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, by raising public awareness of violence and discrimination faced by LGBTI people through running media and public campaigns and facilitating research and studies on LGBTI rights.
