ORHAN was founded in 1999 to provide services for people with disabilities and advocate for their equal opportunity. The organization's programs include medical screening and treatment, provision of assistive devices, physiotherapy, psychosocial counseling, daily living skills training, as well as athletic and cultural activities.

Community-Based Rehabilitation Project
To promote the rights of women with war-inflicted disabilities and children with disabilities in northern Sri Lanka and ensure their participation in social, political, economic and cultural life, through rights trainings, psychosocial counseling, livelihood promotion and educational services.
