Nirantar was established in 1993 to create educational opportunities for rural women. Nirantar provides learning opportunities on issues related to gender, sexuality, gender-based violence, caste and education.
Sexuality Education for Gender-Based Violence Prevention
To build the capacity of five community based organizations to address gaps in their gender-based violence (GBV) prevention programs and to support both greater recognition of the needs of LGBTI survivors of GBV and better understanding of the reasons women return to abusive partners.
