Keonjhar Integrated Rural Development & Training Institute (KIRDTI)
Based in Orissa and founded in 1989, KIRDTI advocates for and empowers tribal communities to pursue their rights. It works to build villages' capacity to solve local problems, provide education and advocate for fair development and government policies. KIRDTI also provides legal education and training for local leaders and works to free Adivasi lands from money lenders and to stop commercial ventures on non-recorded agricultural land.

Strengthening the Role of Gram Panchayats and Gram Sabhas
To ensure the correct implementation of progressive legislation which secures tribal communities' rights to collectively manage their natural resources and effectively resist illegal mining and industrialization of community land and forests.
