Cafya
Cafya is a coalition of five organizations in Bombay that have come together to campaign for citizen rights and social entitlement for Muslim communities, with a specific focus on women and youth. The coalition has worked on several campaigns throughout Bombay since 1986, often in concert with other organizations.
Project
Campaign for Minority Rights
To advocate for the rights of women who face discrimination based on religious and caste identities and campaign for effective formulation and introduction of an Equal Opportunities bill in the Indian Parliament that will ensure that Muslim religious minorities have appropriate access to living spaces, education and employment opportunities.
