Founded in 1996, KAPE works within the education sector in Cambodia to defend the right of every child to a quality basic education. KAPE works to increase both access to and the quality of primary and secondary education, focusing on vulnerable groups such as girls, poor and remote children, and minorities.

Girls' Education Initiative
To increase the number of students transitioning from lower secondary school to upper secondary school by providing scholarships, career counseling for vulnerable children and start-up funds for families with children on scholarships.
