Building Community Voices (BCV)
BCV, established in 2007, emerged out of a need for a unified and collaborative response to the growing level of oppression and isolation experienced by poor communities throughout Cambodia. BCV envisions a Cambodian civil society that is vibrant, proud, led from the bottom, and engaged with its government, and seeks to achieve this by using media as a tool to empower communities to voice and share their concerns.
Project
Community Empowerment Through Mobilization and Media
To empower local communities to understand and demand their land and natural resource rights by organizing communities, raising awareness, developing advocacy skills and teaching community members how to use media effectively.
