Social Development Center (SDC)
SDC was created in 2002 by EarthRights School alumni from Karenni communities living on the Thai-Burmese border. The vision of SDC is to promote the social and political development of the people who have been suffering human rights abuses in Karenni areas of Burma. The organization uses participatory education and non-violence efforts to build up the new society, develop the rule of law, value human dignity and protect the environment.
