Rays of the Rainbow

Founded in 1997, Rays of the Rainbow is a community-driven support group run by and for men who have sex with men in Ranong, on the Thailand-Burma border. The organization's programs include HIV prevention and awareness activities, health care, support for people living with HIV/AIDS and a primary school for children of migrant workers who are unable to attend Thai school.


Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex Community Empowerment

Purpose: To build lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex leadership and address homophobia through human rights workshops that bring together LGBTI and non-LGBTI youth and migrants, and to support the involvement of LGBTI people in community-development activities.
