Rays of the Rainbow
Founded in 1997, Rays of the Rainbow is a community-driven support group run by and for men who have sex with men in Ranong, on the Thailand-Burma border. The organization's programs include HIV prevention and awareness activities, health care, support for people living with HIV/AIDS and a primary school for children of migrant workers who are unable to attend Thai school.
Project
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex Community Empowerment
To build lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex leadership and address homophobia through human rights workshops that bring together LGBTI and non-LGBTI youth and migrants, and to support the involvement of LGBTI people in community-development activities.
