Karen Women's Organisation (KWO)
KWO is a community-based organization of Karen women, who for the past 50 years have worked to empower their peers living in refugee camps on the Thailand-Burma border. The organization encourages women to participate in community decision-making and provides relief, development and income-producing skills training to help improve conditions for displaced women and their families.
