ASU is comprised of women activists, the majority of whom are living with HIV/AIDS. The organization takes an innovative approach toward social action, offering health and human rights education, support groups, experience-sharing meetings, and skills training to provide women living with HIV/AIDS with a source of income.
Project
Strengthening Solas y Unidas' Leadership and National-Based Groups
To strengthen ASU's institutional structure and create a strategy for its regional based groups; to build the leadership of local women leaders living with HIV in order to develop a national agenda and to contribute to its national institutional vision, methodology and advocacy programs.
