Founded in 2003, Musas is the only grassroots organization in Peru dedicated to monitoring and influencing public policies that affect women with disabilities and demanding equal opportunities. The organization focuses on addressing the needs of disabled women who face discrimination, violence, poverty and lack employment opportunities.
Project
Promoting the Rights of Women with Disabilities
To support leadership building for women with disabilities from rural and urban areas; to support advocacy initiatives seeking improvement of urban access for public services institutions; and to develop a communication strategy to promote women with disabilities' social contribution and rights.
