Federacion de Comunidades Nativas del Bajo Ucayali (FECONBU)
FECONBU was established in 1980 to defend and promote the rights of the indigenous peoples of the Peruvian Amazon. Representing 1,400 indigenous communities, FECONBU’s principal objectives include: pursuing legal title of indigenous territories; developing opportunities for bi-lingual and bi-cultural education; improving health within the indigenous population; and promoting gender equality.

Advocacy School for Amazonian Leaders
To protect and respect the rights of indigenous people in the Amazon region against extractive industries by maintaining an indigenous leadership-building school, building advocacy and policy skills, designing advocacy strategies and social mobilization.
