To advance the rights of indigenous peoples and protect the Amazon rainforest through pursuinng the lawsuit against Occidental Petroleum and continue to seek clean up of Block 1AB by both Oxy and Pluspetrol,  supporting the Achuar in keeping oil activities our of their territory and help build a stronger Amazonian indigenous movement in Peru.

To support the health needs of indigenous people by improving the organizational capacity of ACPC. This will be accomplished by implementing institutional decision-making policies; updating the strategic plan; providing a training series on community organizing; and strengthening fundraising and networking strategies.

To prevent sexual and labor exploitation and promote social participation of transgender/transvestite and migrant young people in Iquitos. The project will provide access to education, health and life skills programs.

To promote human rights education through trainings and radio programming that will lead to increased leadership and advocacy skills.

To support the production and distribution of news and analysis about situations that affect human rights, especially those of indigenous people in Peru and Latin America, and to support capacity building for women indigenous leaders and a subsequent advocacy campaign based on their political agenda.

To promote and implement efficient and sustainable territorial management through a training series to identify local Amazonian food sources for local communities, as well as by improving agro-ecological techniques and establishing a vegetable nursery.

To prevent racial discrimination against Afro-Peruvian people through youth leadership trainings, community organizing activities, a national campaign called 'Enlist Your Name against Racism' and regional advocacy activities.

To build grassroots communication capacity, knowledge and skills, so that Minga's constituents can create their own campaigns to combat discrimination and seek equality.

To support organizational capacity building and projects related to production and advocacy for access to traditional and official health services, justice and communication for rural indigenous women.

To empower women with disabilities through activities aimed at supporting their access to resources to allow them to increase their income and actively particpate in their communities to promote and exercise their rights.
