Founded in 1991, Las Brumas is an association of 24 rural cooperatives in nearly 50 communities in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua. Las Brumas offers its member cooperatives training on topics such as conflict management, gender equality, sustainable agriculture and advocacy.

Capacity Building Program
To promote and defend rural women's rights to land and financial resources through trainings on civic and political participation, advocacy towards developing municipal policies that address women's socioeconomic rights, and workshops on gender, microfinance management, cooperativism and disaster risk reduction.
