AMEWAS is a network of nine organizations founded in 2000 to decrease incidents of violence against women, youth, and girls by promoting gender equity, psychosocial healing, and access to the judicial system.
Project
Violence Prevention and Psychosocial Support
To respond to widespread violence against women and girls by providing psychosocial support and shelter for victims, strengthening youth leadership to raise local awareness of sexual and gender-based violence, and conducting human rights advocacy with local institutions.
