Proyecto de Derechos Economicos, Sociales y Culturales A.C. (PRODESC)

PRODESC was founded in 2005 to advocate for increased access to justice and to improve organizational capacities to defend of economic, social and cultural rights in Mexico. Working with local grassroots civil society organizations in Mexico, PRODESC provides legal and technical accompaniment for organizations struggling to have their rights recognized and protected, particularly in the area of natural resources and territory rights.

Transnational Corporate and Governmental Accountability of Companies that Violate Human Rights and the Right of Free, Prior and Informed Consent of Communities

To ensure corporate and government accountability by providing technical assistance to the national mining union to increase union democracy, ensuring responsible wind energy development, building innovative transnational strategies among labor rights activists, and ensuring safety and security of labor rights organizations.
