ROPLA is a network of seven peasant organizations that united in 2010 to strengthen peasant organizations and develop a stronger movement to advocate for better policies that address the needs of rural communities.


Building a Strong Peasant Movement

Purpose: To strengthen the organizational capacity of peasant organizations in the Artibonite and West Department of Haiti by facilitating exchange visits, strengthening a local seed program, developing microcredit for women, and conducting leadership training for members of the network.
