Founded in 1985, MOSCTHA works with Dominicans of Haitian descent in sugar cane raising communities. Its community development programs include human rights education, legalization for Haitian immigrants and their families, preventative health, and housing, latrine and school construction projects.
Project
HIV/AIDS Prevention and Services
To equip young Haitians to protect their health and prevent the spread of HIV, AIDS and sexually transmitted infections by raising awareness on sexual and reproductive health and rights, creating safe spaces for dialogue, holding workshops for sex workers and sexual minorities, and providing medical consultations and home visits.
