Fondation Haitienne pour le Maintien de la Paix Sociale/Partenariat pour le Developpement Local (PDL)
PLD, Groundswell International’s partner organization in Haiti, was founded in 2009 by a team of Haitian colleagues who have developed a highly effective capacity building approach to rural development in Haiti. The organization envisions a world where communities learn from and support each other locally and take action to protect their rights and resources, build local economies that generate physical, spiritual and environmental wellbeing for all, and have a voice in the decisions that impact their lives.
