Equitas (“justice, equity, fairness”) works to advance equality, social justice and respect for human dignity through transformative human rights education programs around the world. Equitas and the human rights workers with whom it partners are seeking to change the historical exclusion of the majority of Haitians from active participation in the development of their country.

Human Rights Training for Haitian Grassroots Organizations

To equip community based organizations to advocate for human rights, gender equality, and political, social and economic development through a citizen engagement training program promoting a human rights-based approach and increased solidarity between grassroots and national organizations.
