Beyond Borders, Inc. (BB)
Beyond Borders and its Haitian sister organization, Limyè Lavi, were founded together in 1993 and work side-by-side to promote justice and peace in Haiti. Understanding that local communities know best how to address the challenges they face, Beyond Borders mobilizes resources and provides technical support in coordination with Limyè Lavi that enable communities to build their own strong grassroots movements for sustainable change. These movements have focused on ending child slavery, guaranteeing universal access to education, ending violence against women and girls, and replacing systems that oppress the poor with systems that support dignified work and sustainable livelihoods.
