Asosyasyon Peyizan Fondwa (APF)
APF was founded in 1988 to combat rural poverty and rural-to-urban migration among the youth. The organization works to create basic infrastructure and improve the quality of life by facilitating access to drinkable water, healthcare, education, financial services and technical assistance in agricultural activities. One of APF's greatest achievements was the 2004 founding of the University of Fondwa, the first unique rural university in Haiti, which trains youth in agronomy, veterinarian-medicine and management.

Rebuilding a Self-Sustaining Fondwa Community
